KWCA is a national membership association that acts as an umbrella for conservancies in Kenya. We bring conservancies members together to share information, contribute ideas and opinions, and gain a voice in decision making processes that directly affect them. We are led by conservancies and represent their interest as well as aim to represent their voice and abilities.

KWCA draws its membership from private and community conservancies and organizations that interface with wildlife conservation as affiliate members. It delivers its programs through its 12 regional associations.

The programs aim at:

  • Implementing exchange programs to promote knowledge, best practices and network at regional and global scale for conservancies.
  • Enhancing capacity for conservancy managers, leaders and scouts through training on wildlife conservation.
  • Strengthening networking and communication among and between conservancies through the conservancy leaders conference and the regional associations meetings.
