Report: Unlocking Guiding and Prioritising Investments into Kenya’s Conservancies

The report,'Unlocking the Potential of Conservancies: Guiding and Prioritising Investments into Kenya's Conservancies' report highlights the current status and untapped potential of conservancies in Kenya, aiming to inform evidence-based strategies aligned with Target 3 of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KMGBF).

It provides a situational analysis of key actors within Kenya’s conservancy landscape to contextualize the critical role conservancies can play in meeting the global biodiversity targets.

The report also explores the specific conditions and key enablers needed to accelerate the growth and impact of conservancies across the country. Through an iterative and participatory process, priority areas and activities have been identified for inclusion in a final Conservation and Community Investment Plan.

The ultimate goal is to support a conservancy network that is Representative, Effective, Durable, and Inclusive (REDI), ensuring long-term biodiversity conservation and community benefits.
