KWCA creates a well-designed communication and coordination structure that links national and county government with communities and land owners involved in wildlife conservation. Its engagement with these stakeholders has led its recognition as a genuine voice for conservancies while its regional workshops and conservancy training sessions have placed it as a reliable source of information to the far flung conservancy members..

The program aims to:

  • Strengthen organizational development of conservancies that will include: governance, management, human resource capacity, planning, communication and networking, policy advocacy, fundraising, natural resource management, conflict management and measures.
  • Improve service delivery and oversight by developing operational standards and code of ethics for conservancies; oversight for the implementation of conservancy management plans based on approved guidelines; proving training for conservancies, conducting project design and management clinics for conservancy associations, etc.

Our Mission
